ABOUT AMY HARPER FOTO

A Quiet Way of Seeing

I am a photographer and visual artist drawn to quiet moments, natural light, and the stories that unfold in everyday life. I make fine art nature photography across Europe, in pursuit of exactly these moments. Living as an immigrant has shaped the way I see the world. I am drawn to the feeling of moving through places, noticing small details, and finding meaning in belonging, transition, and the idea of home. Wherever you come from, your story belongs here.

Where My Work Is Now

Over the past several years, I have photographed families, weddings, and events across Europe. That work built this one: my practice now centres on fine art nature photography — natural light, quiet places, and the patience both ask of me. This space holds selected images and ongoing projects. Past clients can find their sessions below.

SEEN

FIELD NOTES

A family history told as it is uncovered — one story pulling the next from the water. Primary sources, real people, and the secrets they carried carefully to their graves. Winding along the way, field notes from the road — the places I photograph, where the past keeps surfacing.
